The Emily Dickinson Museum offers a variety of events and public programs throughout the year. Some programs celebrate poetry—the Emily Dickinson Poetry Walk in May, the Poetry Marathon in September, Poetry in the Garden in July. Others, like the Nineteenth-Century Children’s Circus in July, bring the past into sharper focus. The year ends in December with a special event and the Open House in honor of Emily Dickinson’s December 10 birthday.
